The Importance of Workplace Civility

The SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) has published a white paper entitled The Importance of Workplace Civility. After analyzing recent data that underscores how workplace incivility significantly compromises productivity, the report recommends the use of a dispute resolution or organizational Ombuds to address civil behavior breaches “quickly and thoroughly.”
